The founder of Check en 19, Wen-an Chou-Huang, is an entrepreneur who is passionate about art. Early in his career, he worked as a pharmacist. Few years later, he started his own company
on developing baby care products. Basilic and Hello Baby are the two brands under his company and has been producing many functional and stylish products for dozens of years. You can find
some artistic and unique illustration on his products, which perfectly epitomizes Mr. Chou- Huang’s commitment to high quality design. By merging life and art, you can live a colorful life and make your life filled with infinite possibilities and prospects. In order to share this beauty with others, Mr. Chou-Huang founded Check en 19 in 2016 and started to support and promote
art.
Check en 19 is located in Niaosong district, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. (near The Grand Hotel) The European style architecture has a refined deign from inside to outside. The gallery provides art lovers and collectors a comfortable and relaxing environment to enjoy art. Many famous artists has been invited to exhibit their artwork at the gallery throughout the years. There are also many artistic products and art works from other countries exhibited in the gallery so that local people can enjoy foreign art without traveling to foreign countries.
There are also exhibition space on the 6 th floor of TALEE’S Department Store. Zone 1 exhibits artists' artworks and zone 2 sells artistic products. Since August, 2019, different creators have been arranged to show their works here every month, so that more people can experience different works of art.
