Yami art space was founded in May, 2012 and located in Taichung. It is within Calligraphy Greenway that is between the National Museum of Natural Science and the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts that adopts following the ‘district gallery’ concept, whereby the environment of the city streets is transformed to give the area and the city an artistic feel. Now it is an important art village of middle Taiwan. Yami art space looks for the local artists of Taiwan actively and also keeps the fine cooperation. At the same time it always focuses on the newest art concept and execute the ideal.

Yami art space not only creates the stage for the artist of Taiwan but also concentrates on international communication. In the meantime it popularizes contemporary art a lot. It brings the directly touch to guests by diversified exhibition. The long-term goal is keeping the new artists to show their potential.
