ARTDOOR started as ArtDoor Studio in 2008, aims to provide artwork restoration, art managing, and exhibitions curating services. With the professional training background, and passionate attitude towards art, ARTDOOR Gallery Taipei officially established in January 2011, to promote local and international artists' works that embody independent and creative thinking, and artists who demonstrate professional and excellent artistic ability. Recently, focus on the main concept of Big 80's, to promote the artistic works of Taiwanese and Southeast Asian artists which have 'self enlightenment of earthy existences' from 1980s, wish to revalue the Asian art contexts. The gallery expects the New Asian Art concept to opens the door internationally between art enthusiasts and innovative artworks, with academic curation occurs with art industry networking.
